« EMC2 (stands for Complex Metallic and Composite System in French) is the French industrial competitiveness cluster dedicated to Advanced Manufacturing created in 2005, certified as a Gold label for cluster excellence since 2015.

EMC2 brings together innovation players around key markets and technologies to allow the emergence of collaborative R&D projects. The goal is to strengthen the innovation ecosystem by promoting the common approach to produce greener, better, tomorrow and together, transverse to the following industries: aerospace, shipbuilding, yachting, ground transportation, energy and industrial equipment.

EMC2 runs a network of over 330 members (SMEs, major groups and public & private research providers) gathered around manufacturing technologies and industry of the future topics. At the end of 2015, EMC2 had granted its label to more than 370 collaborative R&D projects, of which 200 were funded for a total of 1.3 billion euros, including € 476 million of public funds. »
